NATO calls for Russia to bring troops from Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova

NATO called on Russia to bring troops from Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova and “refrain from aggressive rhetoric.” This was stated by the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, presenting an alliance response to Russia’s suggestions.

“Russia should refrain from the threatening placement of forces, aggressive rhetoric against NATO countries and other states. Russia should also withdraw its troops from Ukraine, Georgia, as well as Moldova,” said Stoltenberg, who quotes TASS.

He also stressed that the Alliance raised the combat readiness of his forces against the background of the threat of “invasion of Russia to Ukraine.
