NATO Secretary General guaranteed safety of Finland and Sweden

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that many countries of the North Atlantic Alliance guaranteed the security of Finland and Sweden until they receive membership in the alliance.

“Many NATO states have already given clear obligations to ensure the safety of Sweden and Finland,” TASS quoted him.

According to Stoltenberg, the alliance increased its presence in the region, including within the framework of a larger number of exercises. He also stated that the NATO armed forces, Finland and Sweden are already completely compatible, since they trained together for decades.
