NATO will negotiate with Russia, consulting with Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova

NATO is ready to listen to the concerns of Russia about the system of world security. This was announced on January 7, the Secretary General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg, writes RIA Novosti.

Stoltenberg stressed that NATO will consult with Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova, negotiating with Russia. “NATO will keep a security dialogue with Russia directly and openly, but there is always a risk that diplomacy will not bring the result,” the Secretary-General added. Moreover, in parallel with the Dialogue with the Russian authorities, NATO will continue to strengthen the defense of the Alliance states.

“NATO will not undergo any kind of compromise from the Russian Federation for the basic principle that each country can choose its defense unions,” summed up Stoltenberg.
