NATO will transfer another 40 thousand military to Eastern Europe

The countries included in the NATO block, at the March 24 summit, decided to strengthen the Eastern flank of the Alliance after the start of the armed conflict in Ukraine, transfers “Kommersant”.

It is noted that 40 thousand servicemen will be transferred there, and four multinational combat groups will be formed in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

“These steps will be supported by enhanced teachings with increased attention to collective defense and operational compatibility,” the NATO statement said.
