Navalny sued colony for refusing to give him Quran

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny reported that he filed to a correctional colony in the city of Pokrov Vladimir region of the Russian Federation, where he serves the term in the case of “Iv Rocher”.

Kommersant reports that the oppositionist complained that he was not given to the books brought to them, including the Quran. The leadership of the colony argues that all books must be checked for extremism. What court filed a statement, the politician did not specify.

During the month, Navalny did not give out a single book brought by him, he wrote in Instagram. In a statement addressed to the head of the colony of Alexander Mukhanov, the Russian oppositionist complained that he repeatedly asked to give him the Quran.
