“Nazis hunter” will lead investigation of war crimes in Ukraine

US Prosecutor General Merrik Garland announced the creation of a special group to investigate war crimes in Ukraine. It will be headed by an employee of the Ministry of Justice Eli Rosenbaum, who is called the most famous “Nazis hunter” in the USA, reports Meduza with reference to the American Ministry of Justice.

“Military criminals do not hide nowhere. The US Department of Justice will use all the possibilities to bring to justice of those who commit war crimes and other atrocities in Ukraine,” said the Prosecutor General.

Garland said that leading specialists in the investigation of cases related to human rights and military crimes will be gathered in the group. He also said that the United States will be sent to Ukraine by an expert to help the fight against corruption and money laundering.

Eli Rosenbaum from 1994 to 2010 headed the US Ministry of Justice Management of special investigations. It was also engaged in the search and deportation of Nazi war criminals, and also achieved the deprivation of their American citizenship.
