Network “Kontakt” took part in implementation of development program for adolescent girls

The first part of the “Her Improvement” development program was completed. The program has passed with the support of one of the leading retail chains of the country, “Kontakt”, and the organization of the “femtech” platform.

The main objective of this program is to provide 12-16-year-old teenage girls knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, business, startups and non-massification, as well as achieve the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and contribute to an increase in the number of women founders start-in-innovative Business.

A total of more than 200 wishes filed applications, 25 of them were entitled to participate. The first stage of the project covered the 10-hour training program. Here, participants were involved in thematic trainings and master classes consisting of 3 sections. In addition, adolescents were able to familiarize themselves with the Center for Innovation and Technologies of the Baku Engineering University and start working on their ideas.

Over next year, the program provides for several more trainings and meetings when organizing “Kontakt” and “Femtech”.
