New details in case of an attack on Israeli tourists in Istanbul

After the Turkish media reports that the police arrested the day before a group of three Iran citizens suspected of planning terrorist attacks against the Israelis in Istanbul, new details became known.

According to Turkish news agencies, the suspects were arrested on July 14 “as part of the second part of the operation to prevent attacks on Israelis in Turkey.” All of them are placed in custody, and during the operation three pistols, two laser sights, three silencers and a large number of cartridges were seized.

The Turkish newspaper Sabakh published a record from the video cameras of the Marmara hotel on Taxim Square, where a member of the Iranian group photographs number 101, in which three tourists from Israel stopped. The police suggests that it was intelligence on the area for the planning of the attack, and Israeli tourists most likely were potential objects of terrorists.

Also, according to sources, the killers promised a payment for the murder of Israeli in the amount of about 35 thousand dollars. In the case, at the moment, eight people were arrested, in total.
