German Chancellor Olaf Scholz plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in January, reports the BILD newspaper.
According to media sources, Chancellor FRG considers Russia with its main priority in foreign policy and seeks to a qualitatively new beginning in relations with Moscow.
Also, the newspaper claims that the foreign policy adviser Olaf Scholz Jens Plentner has been preparing a meeting of heads of state over two weeks.
