New Zealand expanded sanctions against Russia

New Zealand expanded sanctions against Russia, the country’s Foreign Ministry said on the official website.

“Sanctions are introduced against the Sogaz insurance company, Russian Railways and against defense enterprises engaged in the development, production and testing of military equipment for the Russian Armed Forces,” the New Zealand Foreign Ministry said.

The country uses a wide range of sanctions, including a ban on traveling, freezing assets, a ban on financial transactions and on arrival in the country of sea and aircraft. Authorities also prohibit individuals and legal entities of New Zealand provide goods and services of the Russian Armed Forces, its defense enterprises, which are extended by sanctions.
