Nicholas II hunting house in Turkey will turn into a hotel

The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced a tender for renting a hunting house of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II in the province of Kars. The department stated that the mansion would be transferred to investors for a period of 49 years, subject to restoration, report Turkish media.

According to the information built in 1897, the building, which local residents call the “Katerina mansion” will be turned into a hotel.

Initially, the building was built as a rehabilitation center for a patient Cesarevich Alexey and Hunting House of Emperor Nicholas II. The building belongs to the Baltic style of architecture and is unique to Sarykamysh district.

The complex consists of a hunting house and the main mansion. During the construction of the building, nails were not used.
