Nigerian police saved over 100 people from hands of armed gangs

The Nigerian police last month saved over 100 people abducted in Katsin demanding a ransom.

According to Katsina’s press secretary Abubakar Sadig Aliyu, operations against armed gangs were held from March 31 in various regions of the state.

During the operations, five militants of armed gangs were eliminated, another 64 were captured, he said.

Nigeria is fighting the threat of armed gangs, as well as the terrorist organizations of Boko Haram and ISWAP – West African wing of the deaash in different parts of the country.

The abduction of people in Nigeria is a frequent phenomenon, contrary to the fact that the death execution is provided for this crime.
