Foreign Ministry of the DPRK supported the results of “referenda on joining Russia”, which took place in the Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CST)
“We show respect for the will of the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, the Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions that strove to join Russia, and we support the position of the Russian government on the adoption of the above regions in their composition,” said the head of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK on cases of international organizations Cho Chol Su.
DPRK became the only country that supported the results of the “referenda on joining Russia.” UN, USA and many EU countries opposed the annexation of Ukrainian territories.
