Earlier on Wednesday, the Afghan television channel Tolonews stated citing local residents that in the Khair Khan area, in the northeast of Kabul, an explosion occurred. As the Aaj News agency later clarified, the explosion thundered in the Sadicia mosque. According to local residents, the sounds of shots were also heard.
The representatives of the Taliban movement have not yet commented on what happened.
