Number of dead rains in Brazil has increased to 23 people

The number of deaths caused by spilling rains in the Brazilian state of Espirita Santa and the city of Rio de Janeiro increased to 23.

Officials of the state of Espirita-santeu reported that about 5 thousand people were forced to leave their homes.

Yesterday, 12 dead were reported as a result of landslides in the state of Espirita-Santu and the city of Rio de Janeiro.

In Rio de Janeiro, an “emergency” was declared due to strong storms and tornado, and it was also stated that some houses in the city of Petropolis were destroyed and 500 people were forced to leave their homes.

Meteorological Service also said that heavy rains and storms will last for some time.
