Number of flood victims in Brazil increased to 56

The number of flood victims caused by spillful rains in Brazil increased to 56.

Rains, lasting for some time in the state of Riu-Grandi-Do-Sul in the south of the country, caused destruction and human sacrifices.

A civil defense statement reports that 67 missing are being searched. 74 victims were delivered to hospitals.

It is noted that the rains caused serious damage to the 281 settlement. 377,497 people were injured from floods.

Earlier, the Governor of Riu-Grandi-Do-Sul Eduardo Leita said that the authorities have not yet been able to get to some settlements.

“We are experiencing an extremely exceptional situation. This is not a critical event, but the most destructive in the history of the state,” the statement says.
