Number of parliamentary deputies was reduced in Salvador

President of Salvadora Nayib Bukla signed a decree on the reform of the electoral legislation, in which the number of parliamentary deputies is reduced from 84 to 60.

I wrote about this book on his page on Twitter.

“has just signed an act on the reform of the electoral code, which reduces the number of deputies from 84 to 60,” he wrote.

The book noted that the reforms will eliminate the election of deputies on quotas, leaving only the distribution of deputy mandates in accordance with the number of votes.

Elections to the Salvador Parliament will be held in February 2024.
