Obama in Hiroshima urged to destroy nuclear weapons

Ex-president of US Barack Obama at a press conference of an international world for world without nuclear weapons in Hiroshima urged to completely eliminate nuclear weapons for future generations.

“For the sake of our descendants, we should strive for a world free from nuclear weapons,” the Kyodo agency quotes his words.

Obama also said that he would never forget his visit to Hiroshima in May 2016: “I will never forget this. It was a moment that strengthened my own commitment to reducing the threat of nuclear weapons around the world,” he emphasized.
