OIS called on parties to conflict in Sudan to return to dialogue

The organization of Islamic cooperation (OIS) called for the termination of clashes between the army and the rapid response forces (SBR) in Sudan.

OII said they were deeply concerned about clashes between the army and the SBR in a number of cities of the East African country.

OIS Housin Ibrahim Tah, the conflicting parties in Sudan immediately put an end to clashes and return to the dialogue, taking into account the interests of the Sudanese people.

He emphasized the absolute conviction that the Sudanese people are able to resolve this crisis through dialogue and negotiations.

The Secretary General of Taha noted that the OIS attaches great importance to security, stability and peace in Sudan.

In Hartum and a number of other cities of Sudan in the morning, on Saturday, April 15, armed clashes between the army and SBR.

Disagreements regarding the reform of military security, which provides for the complete integration of the SBR into the armed forces, resulted in a hot conflict between two power structures.
