The organization of Islamic cooperation (OIS) announced an emergency meeting next week in connection with the action to burn a copy of the Qur’an in Sweden. This is stated in the organization’s statement.

The meeting was convened by Saudi Arabia.

The summit will be held at the OIS headquarters in the Saudi city of Gidda.
