Olaf Sholts and Vladimir Zelensky discussed situation in Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Sholts and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the situation in Ukraine.

According to the written statement of the press secretary of the German government, Steffen Hebestrait, in a telephone conversation with Zelensky, Scholz exchanged opinions about the political, military and humanitarian situation in Ukraine.

Having informed Scholts about recent Russian attacks, the President of Ukraine Zelensky thanked the German government for military support, especially for strengthening the air defense of Ukraine.

German Chancellor Scholz confirmed the “unwavering solidarity” with Ukraine in the face of continuing Russian aggression and assured that Germany would continue to provide military support to Ukraine in close coordination with European and international partners.
