Commercial airlines around the world abolished more than 4500 flights to Christmas weekends, since the increase in the number of cases of Omicron-strain is alarming among travelers, Reuters reports.
According to current data on the site tracking flights FlightAware.com, air transporters abandoned at least 2401 flights on Christmas Eve. Tens of thousands are postponed indefinitely.
