On banks of Caspian Sea found more than 200 dead red-born nerves

Over the past month, more than 200 nerves from the Red Book found dead on the Caspian Sea coast. This was announced by the director of ANO “Caspian Environmental Center” Zaur Gapizov, reports TASS.

“So, yesterday between Derbent and Dagestan lights, three more carcasses were found. All the individuals are young, one without a skin. In total, from the end of April to today, the Caspian Environmental Center employees have found more than 200 dead seals,” said Gapiz.

According to the director of the environmental center, the death of the nerve may be associated with animals in the network of fishermen and poachers. Gapiz explains that in the spring of the nerve descend to the south, where they are confused in fishing networks and cannot get out.

In the environmental center, it does not exclude such a cause of the mass death of a nerve, like pollution of the sea and viral diseases. “Since the sea is dirty, the fish, which is eating seals, can poison them, it is also one of the possible causes of the death of a nerve. By the water itself, it can be seen that the sea is polluted by wastewater. Since in coastal cities there is no network of treatment facilities,” explained Gapiz.

In the “Caspian Environmental Center” conduct research. The dead nerve took tests, find out the causes of death. The coast will examine with drones.
