Narcocontrabandists opened fire on border guards, reported in the State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan (GPS).
According to the post, February 21, about 01:05 on the office territory of the coast guard “Kalyadyakh” of the Southern Regional Office of the Coast Guard of GPS at a distance of about 40 meters from the coast, the Mitsubishi Pajero brand was driving up with a 2-RS-10 civilian number -565, in which there were 2 people. One of the people who were in the car attracted the attention of the border outfit in that coming out of the car, took the bag hidden in the bushes.
It is noted that the suspects were detained while trying to pick up the bag from the territory and leave the scene by car.
It has been established that these are residents of Astarinsky district – Gurba Agayev, born in 1978, and Gulshan Agayev, previously convicted for the use of narcotic drugs. Having armed resistance, Agayev several times opened fire from the traumatic pistol of the Blow-TR-14 brand, applying two members of the border dressing. Outfit carrying a service on the territory, opened a preventive fire in the air, immediately adopted emergency measures. The servicemen detained the criminal.
It is reported that with an inspection of the bag seized from the scene, 16 kg of 965 g of narcotic drugs were found (4 kg of 085 grams of marijuana, 9 kg of 920 grams of opium, 2 kg 090 g of methamphetamine and 870 gr Heroine).
Employees of the Astarinsky district police department also conducted a garage owned by G.Agaev, and found 1 bag with 1 kg of 100 grams of marijuana.
