Pakistan is facing a civil war

Pakistan was overwhelmed by protests after the country’s election commission forbade the former Prime Minister and the chairman of the Party “The Movement for Justice” by Imran Khan to occupy the republics elected to any legislative authorities for five years, writes Reuters.

On October 16, additional elections to the National Assembly and the Meeting of the Province of Penjab were held in Pakistan. Based on the results of past events, the Party of Imran Khan “Movement for Justice” won an unconditional victory, having received several places. However, on October 21, the election commission annulled the results and put a well -known ban for Imran Khan. The reason for the decision was a false income declaration submitted by the leader during his stay in power.

Immediately after these news, the supporters of the former prime minister went to the building of the election commission and tried to storm it. At the same time, people came to demonstrations in Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and several other cities. Protesters blocked the Islamabad -Peshavar motorway. To accelerate demonstrators, the police used tear gas.

By evening, Imran Khan asked them to go home. He noted that until the end of October will announce the “great march” for Islamabad, which will marked the beginning of the struggle for the freedom of the Pakistani people.

After this statement, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Pakistan, the wound of Sanaulla announced the introduction of an increased readiness regime due to the possible armed demonstrations of the Allied Party “Vocal Movement”. Experts fear the outbreak of the Civil War in the country.
