Pentagon is not against supply of F-16 fighters to Ukraine by other countries

Despite the fact that the US Presidential Administration Joe Bayden repeatedly rejected the possibility of sending F-16 fighters to Ukraine, while not opposing their transfer to Kyiv by other countries.

This is reported by the American media.

Pentagon senior officials consider it possible to send F-16 fighters to Kyiv by other countries.

It is noted that after the meeting of the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the head of the Government of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, Britain announced the creation of the coalition of countries that will begin to work to send airplanes to Ukraine. Although, the countries that have acquired the F-16 or any other weapons system from the United States must first receive Washington’s approval before transferring them to the third country.

It is expected that the supply of F-16 Ukraine will be discussed at the G-7 meeting in Japan this week.
