Pentagon: Kyiv is still dangerous

A high-ranking representative of the Pentagon, commenting on the removal of Russian troops in position to the north and east of the Ukrainian capital, said that “Kyiv is still in danger and air strikes continue.” He added that “we did not observe a big difference over the past 24 hours, there was no … mass movement, at least at the moment.” This is reported by “Voice of America”.

According to the representative of the Pentagon, the redocation of Russian troops from Kyiv indicates that the Russian military leaders understand that their attempt to take the Ukrainian capital failed.

In the Pentagon, they say that hearing anecdotes about bad indicators on the battlefield and about the depression of Russian soldiers, but “all this is at the level of rumors and jokes, and it is impossible to say with confidence – it is only in some parts or more general trends.” Nevertheless, the representative of the Pentagon believes that all these stories only confirm some of the main problems that revealed in the Russian Armed Forces.
