The US Department of Defense in connection with the incident with the American nuclear submarine in the Kuril ridge outlined its own version, according to which the submarine did not cross the marine borders of Russia and moved only in international waters, reports TASS.
In the agency noted that Russia’s approval on operations in its territorial waters are not true.
“I will not comment on the specific location of our submarines, but we fly, sea operations and actively in international waters,” the official representative of the Indo-Pacific Command of the USA Kyle Reins said.
Recall that earlier on Saturday of the Ministry of Defense of Russia caused the US military attachment due to the situation with the American nuclear submarine type Virginia, found in the morning in the area of the planned teaching of the Pacific Fleet forces near the Island of Curil Rud. The representative of the Pentagon was presented by a note, and also stated that the actions of the submarines are regarded as a gross violation of international law.
