Pentagon: Russia released over Ukraine over 1000 rockets

According to the US Department of Defense, the Armed Forces of Russia issued as of March 18 already 1080 missiles over the territory of Ukraine, the BBC reports.

As the unnamed source in the Pentagon stated, American scouts believe that the offensive of Russian forces stopped in all directions.

He noted that in a similar way, the approximation of Russian units to Kharkov does not see, despite the breakthrough attempts.

The American official stressed that Ukrainians retain most of their aviation in a combat-ready state, despite the reinforced rocket strikes of Russians on airfields. In addition, the air defense systems continue to shoot down Russian fighters and rockets. Therefore, the airspace over Ukraine is not fully controlled by Russians.
