Poland and Baltic countries insist on tightening anti -Russian sanctions

A number of European Union states, including Poland and the Baltic countries, require the bloc from introducing more stringent sanctions against Russia after a mobilization announcement in this country, reports the Financial Times.

It is reported that these countries have presented a list of measures, including the exclusion of new banks from the SWIFT system, a ban on the import of Russian diamonds, restrictions on the sale of luxury items, restrictions in the field of IT, cybersecurity, software.

Similar sanctions are proposed to be introduced against Belarus.
