Poland called on Georgian authorities to provide Saakashvili with necessary treatment

The Seim of Poland called on the Georgian authorities to provide Mikhail Saakashvili with the necessary specialized treatment that meets world standards.

This is stated in the resolution adopted by the Sejm.

“In connection with the alarming information about the dramatic condition of the former president of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, including medical diagnoses confirming his rapidly worsening health, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland appeals to the Georgian authorities to protect the universal principles of humanism,” the document says in the document .

The Sejm notes that this resolution takes into account “Saakashvili’s significant contribution to the formation of projuroral consoles of Georgians, as a result of which the Georgian government applied for EU membership in 2022.”

The document also states that the ex-president of Georgia stated that after treatment and rehabilitation, he is ready to return to Tbilisi for further consideration of court cases.
