Poland proposed to share frozen assets of Russia

Frozen assets of Russia can be divided between Ukraine and the European Union. This proposal was made by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky at an informal EU summit, the Israeli channel 9.


The head of Poland explained that the event discussed the possibility of creating a new fund, the source of which will be Russian assets frozen after the start of the war with Ukraine. “You can resort to these means for the benefit of Ukraine, which should be restored for these funds, but also for the needs of the inhabitants of the European Union, for the needs of the inhabitants of Poland,” he said.
