The construction of an electronic barrier equipped with sensors and cameras should begin in March on the border with Russia, said Anna Mikhalskaya, press secretary of Poland. This is reported by Polskie Radio.
Mikhalskaya added that the contractor is currently preparing a project for building a fence to submit it to the department. The total length of the fence will be 200 kilometers.
She added that the sensors that will install on the fence will react only to people and “real attempts to cross the border”, and not to animals.
