Poland will provide Ukraine with 18 self -propelled howitzers Krabis

Ukraine will receive 18 units of modern self -propelled howitzers Krab from Poland. We are talking about equipment for three artillery divisions. It is reported by Polskie Radio.

The Polish military has already trained one hundred Ukrainian artillerymen to handle Krab’s cannon howitzers. Now at the disposal of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces at least 24 Western self -propelled cannon installations.

Six units of equipment of a similar type called “Caesar” were transferred to France.

In turn, Germany and the Netherlands announced a total of 12 units about the transfer, but Berlin explains that the training of the crews to the management of their Panzerhaubitzen 2000 is still continuing the date when the equipment enters Ukraine is unknown.

Krab self -propelled howitzers are equipment that has been in service with the Polish army for several years. The howitzers are produced by Huta Stalowa Wola. The caterpillar chassis is made according to the Korean license, and the 155-mm gun is a modification of British weapons. The maximum firing range is 40 km with basic ammunition. Krab can shoot 6 times per minute.
