Polonnes of cocaine found in a box of bananas

The National Crime Agency and the British Border Service seized more than 500 kg of cocaine at the London Gateway port, the agency on the site.

The criminal group tried to conduct drugs in boxes from under the bananas, which were brought from Colombia by boat. The load of an approximate value of 40 million pounds was supposed to get to the Netherlands.

“The export of a party of this size will be a huge blow to the criminal network participating in this delivery, and it will prevent them from earned millions of pounds that would be invested in further crimes,” said the Operational Manager of the Adam Berry agency
