Popular blogger Mehman Huseynov, together with an activist of the opposition NIDA movement Ulvi Hasanli, were detained in the village of Novkhani. As reported by Turan agency, in the late afternoon the detainees were released.
“We were conducting an investigation in the village of Novkhany in connection with one official. When we were returning, the police stopped us. Then they brought us to the Absheron District Police Department. They started asking us different questions. I had a drone and said that they would investigate the issue. After a while we were brought to the Ganjlik metro station and released there, “Mehman Huseynov told the agency.
