In 2023, 747 203 local and foreign tourists took flights in balloons throughout Turkey. This follows from the annual report of the Main Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM) of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey for 2023.
We are talking about routes in the regions of Nevchehir-Capadokia, Denizley-Pamukkale, Kaiseri-Soganly, Neeshekhir-Chat, Aksaray-Hilar, Afjonkarachisar-Frig and Antalya-Apendos.
According to the agency, 67 organizations provide services in this area.
According to information, in the last period there is an increase in the number of applications for flights in new regions.

Until today, 118 balloons have been produced in Turkey, 17 of which were sent for export.
The number of technical personnel serving balloons increased by 14 percent compared to the previous year – from 575 to 654.
