The Statistical Committee of Armenia published data on the population of the country as of January 1, 2022.
According to the Armenian media, according to this data, the permanent population of the country is 2 million 961 thousand people.
For the same period of 2021, this figure amounted to 2 million 963.3 thousand people. Thus, in 1 year the number of residents permanently residing in the country decreased by 2.3 thousand people.
