Poroshenko declared readiness to support Zelensky

Fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he was ready to support the current Ukrainian authorities, including the operating chapter of the state of Vladimir Zelensky, in the conditions of a tense situation on the border with Russia.

“I am ready to substitute the shoulder to the government and the president to support Ukraine,” Poroshenko said in an interview with the British newspaper The Times, adding disagreements between him and Zelensky, but he is ready to forget about them against the background of the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border.

Poroshenko also appealed to Western countries to provide military assistance to Ukraine.

“everyone understands in 2022 that investing in Ukraine is investment in their own security,” he said.
