President Lula visits flood-hit Brazilian state

six people died, thousands were left without shelter as a result of floods caused by heavy rains in the north of Brazil.

According to the authorities, the emergency was announced in 64 cities of the state of Maranyan.

Due to the flood without shelter, 7.7 thousand families were left, more than 35 thousand people were evacuated.

In the areas of flooding, search and rescue work continues continuously.

Brazilian President Luis Inasiu Lula da Silva examined the flooding zone in the city of Trasidila-Do-Wal from a helicopter.

The head of state also visited the village of Bajabal, who suffered from the blow of the elements and promised to provide the necessary assistance to citizens.
