This is President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said in negotiations with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an expanded composition, BelTA reports.
“We do not have closed topics, we have everything openly. If someone heard what questions we discuss, they would think: what is our relationship? The kindest, closest. We communicate as brothers, we understand equally The world where he is moving, ”said the head of the Belarusian state.
Ilham Aliyev, in turn, said that Azerbaijan values a trusting partnership with Belarus.
The Head of State said that between the two leaders a thorough conversation took place in a narrow composition on many issues of a bilateral agenda and on regional, international issues.
The strategic nature of the relations of the two countries was confirmed, Ilham Aliyev said.
“We value a trusting, creative partnership between our countries, which is based on mutual respect, friendship and cooperation, – Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
According to the Azerbaijani leader, relations between the two countries are tested by time.
“I think that no one has a doubt that Belarus and Azerbaijan are two reliable friends,” Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
The meeting of the presidents of the two countries takes place in the suburban residence of the Azerbaijani leader “Zagulb”. As the press service of the head of the Belarusian leader previously said, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Belarus plan to consider topical issues of bilateral relations with an emphasis on the expansion of trade and economic ties in various industries and the development of cooperative interaction in the fields of industry and agriculture.
Another topic of negotiations will be the cooperation of Belarus and Azerbaijan at international sites and in integration associations.
The heads of state will discuss the situation in the region and in the world as a whole. Based on the results of the negotiations, a package of bilateral documents will be signed.
