President of Belarus: resumption of dialogue between Minsk and Oslo in interests of both sides

The resumption of bilateral dialogue between Belarus and Norway corresponds to the interests of the population of both states.

This is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, addressed to the Norwegian people on the occasion of the national holiday, the Constitution Day. The text of the message on Friday, May 17 is given by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Lukashenko noted that Belarus and Norway for a long time effectively developed humanitarian and trade and economic interaction, including in the areas of mechanical engineering, food industry, science, sports.

According to the president, two countries unite the concern for their citizens, the desire for peace and creation, coexistence in accordance with the neighbors.

“I am convinced that the resumption of a bilateral dialogue based on such a foundation corresponds to the interests of the population of both states, primarily interest in strengthening stability in the region,” the president of Belarus emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the inhabitants of Norway in peace, happiness and further success, adding that the doors of Belarus will always be open to Norwegian friends.
