President of Forum in Davos called for Marshall plan

The President of the World Economic Forum in Davos Berge Brende called for the Marshall plan to restore Ukraine, the European Truth reports.

“Even without a peace agreement, which is currently unlikely, we must start the restoration work, at least in the areas that are under the control of Ukraine,” Brende said.

According to him, we are talking about infrastructure, electricity, schools, roads and bridges.

“We need a Marshall plan for Ukraine,” added Brende, adding that he wanted to call for such a plan at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which begins on Monday, May 23.
