President of Kyrgyzstan announced significance of development of transport corridors

The current geo -economic world order requires the introduction of effective solutions to maintain and increase the volume of mutual and foreign trade. This was stated by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, speaking at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (EAEU) in Moscow.

According to him, one of these solutions is the minimization of control measures on the internal boundaries of the EAEU and increasing the transparency of regulation.

“for this purpose, an agreement was signed and entered into force on the use of navigation seals in the Union, which will also eliminate the risks of illegal movement of goods and increase the transit attractiveness of the EAEU member states. The success of the implementation of this agreement will be measured as the goals have achieved in it including the creation of favorable conditions for a conscientious business, the exclusion of excessive barriers and bureaucracy during control measures, ”Zhaparov said.

In addition, the President of Kyrgyzstan focused on the need to develop the new infrastructure of transport corridors, in particular in the directions of the North-South and East-West. “Last year, a list of priority infrastructure integration projects in the field of transport was approved. It is necessary to activate the work to expand this list, taking into account long -term prospects, as well as create conditions for their successful implementation, including in terms of their financing. At the same time, I propose to pay special attention I consider it important to ensure access to transport corridors for the EAEU countries that do not have access to the sea. At the same time, to increase the speed of delivery of goods, I consider it important to create an ecosystem of multimodal transportation with digitization of all trading documents, ”the president expressed.

According to him, the signing of the protocol on amendments to the Union Treaty regarding financial assistance to joint cooperation projects in industry sectors will increase the volume of joint production, stimulate investment growth and create additional jobs.

.

“We must further expand the created mechanism of financial assistance using stable sources of financing, including due to the receipt of import customs duties,” the president said.
