President of Russian Federation will receive right to protect citizens from decisions of international bodies

The President of the Russian Federation will be authorized to protect Russian citizens in case of foreign or international bodies of illegal decisions. A copy of the text of the amendments is at the disposal of TASS.

Amendments are made to the first reading of the government bill, which allows all the military who has passed preliminary special training, participate in peacekeeping activities.

The bill is proposed to be supplemented with a new article amending the Law “On Security”. Thus, the President of Russia is endowed with the authority to take measures to protect the Russian Federation and its citizens “in the case of foreign and (or) international (interstate) bodies (organizations) of decisions or the implementation of actions that contradict the interests of the Russian Federation and (or) the fundamentals of the public law enforcement of the Russian Federation “.

As the Duma press service previously reported, the initiative was prepared and introduced to the lower house of the parliament by the State Duma deputies, including it by the speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and the leaders of the factions. It is also proposed to amend the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, providing for liability for promoting the execution of decisions of such organizations.

The Speaker of the State Duma instructed to prepare these amendments at a meeting on making changes to the legislation prohibiting the activities of the International Criminal Court (MUS) in the Russian Federation.

Mus on March 17 issued an arrest warrant of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Presidential President of the Russian Federation for the Rights of the Child Maria Lvova-Belova on charges of “illegal deportation” of Ukrainian children.
