Price of gasoline in UK reached a record level

In the UK, the average cost of gasoline reached a record level, exceeding 142 pounds sterling and 94 pence per liter. This is evidenced by the data provided by RAC Fuel Watch.

The price of liter diesel fuel is 146.5 pounds per liter.

“We call on the government to temporarily lower VAT, and for the largest gas stations – to reduce the amount they receive for each liter of gasoline, to the level that was before the pandemic,” said the official representative of Rac Simon Williams.
