The Prosecutor General’s Office investigated the case of illegal cutting of trees.
According to Haqqin.az in the press service of the Prosopurutars, it was found that as a result of illegal cutting down trees and shrubs that are not part of the forest fund, in the village of Burdzhali Lenkoransky district, the village of Puzhtatala Balaenesky district, the village of Isagbagi of the Zavrdabsky district and on the territory Oguz district damage amounted to 49 thousand manat.
Criminal cases under Articles 259.1, 259.2.4 (illegal wood) of the Criminal Code have been instituted on these facts and are sent to the relevant internal affairs bodies for investigation.
