Prosecutor General’s Office refutes 21 February

On social networks, some users disseminate unverified information about the allegedly biased by the prosecutor’s office of the investigation in connection with the complaint of citizen Samir Abbasles regarding the assignment of funds.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Samir Abbasla (Customer), having concluded a contract with Ruslan Nabiev (contractor) for repair work in his own apartment, paid him 15 thousand 500 manats. Later, the customer complained to law enforcement agencies due to the fact that the contractor did not fulfill his obligations on repair work.

Since during the investigation it was found that Abbasla’s appeal is civilian in order to initiate a criminal case on the material collected, and he was explained that he had the right to appeal to the court in a civilian manner.

In addition, on the same fact, a civil case was considered in the Goychay District Court, following which the court decided to satisfy the plaintiff’s claims to return the funds. The court ordered Ruslan Nabiev to return to Samir Abbasles 15 thousand 500 manat.
