Another meeting of the Public Council under the State Committee for Refugees and Forced Migrants took place. At the meeting, the chairman of the council, the head of the public association “Healthy Development and Education” Anar Khalilov, made a report. The report covered the annual activities of the Council, said in the press service of the State Committee.
At the meeting, it was noted that the successful implementation of state policy in working with refugees and forced immigrants in Azerbaijan, the military-political and diplomatic activities of President Ilham Aliyev, the heroism of the Azerbaijani army made it possible to free the Azerbaijani territories from the occupation. In these areas, large -scale restoration work began, preparations are underway to return the former forced immigrants.
The meeting participants noted that the relationship between the Public Council, the composition of which was updated after the elections, and the State Committee, strengthened, work is being carried out to provide public support to solve problems that are in force forced immigrants. Council members periodically visit temporary settlements for forced immigrants, including modern villages and residential complexes built for them, conduct observations and meetings. For operational activities, a group of WhatsApp was created, consisting of members of the Council and officials of the committee, and this possibility is effectively used for immediate response to the appeals of forced immigrants.
The Chairman of the State Committee, Rovshan Rzaev, thanked the members of the Council for fruitful work, noted that their opinions and proposals are always valuable, emphasized the importance of public participation in working with forced immigrants.
At the meeting, Anar Khalilov handed a letter of thanks to the members of the commission who effectively collaborated with the public council.
