The export of currency over 10 thousand dollars has been banned for the past few months. In addition, Putin brought out a number of development institutions from economic special measures, including the Asian infrastructure investment bank and the new BRICS development bank. The restrictions were imposed to stabilize the Russian economy after the introduction of Western sanctions.
